Refund Policy

Unused credits: full refund within 14 days. Used credits: no refund (the AI already did the work). If the system glitches and takes credits without giving you output, we'll re-credit them automatically. Not happy with AI quality? That's not refundable โ€” AI output varies.

1. Scope

1.1 This Refund Policy governs all purchases made through the AI Prompt Architect platform, including Credit packs, subscriptions, and any other paid features.

1.2 This Policy should be read alongside Our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

2. Digital Content Acknowledgement

2.1 AI Prompt Architect provides digital content within the meaning of the Consumer Rights Act 2015 ยง33. By purchasing and consuming Credits, You acknowledge that: (a) Credits are used to generate AI Output, a form of digital content; (b) once Credits are consumed (i.e., an AI Output is generated), the digital content has been fully supplied; and (c) consumed Credits cannot be recovered or reversed.

3. Refund Eligibility

3.1 Unused Credits. If You have purchased Credits and have NOT consumed them, You may request a full refund within fourteen (14) days of purchase. This aligns with the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 cooling-off period.

3.2 Consumed Credits. Credits that have been consumed (used to generate Output) are NOT refundable. By initiating AI generation, You consent to immediate performance and acknowledge loss of the right of withdrawal for the consumed portion.

3.3 Partial Consumption. Where only some Credits in a pack have been consumed, We will refund the pro-rata unused portion upon request within fourteen (14) days of purchase.

3.4 Subscriptions. Subscription fees are refundable on a pro-rata basis for the unused portion of the current billing period if You cancel within fourteen (14) days. After fourteen (14) days, cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period with no further charges.

4. Service Failures

4.1 Technical Failures. If Credits are deducted but no Output is generated due to a technical failure on Our side, We will automatically re-credit the consumed Credits to Your Account.

4.2 Third-Party Failures. If a failure is caused by a Sub-Processor (e.g., Google, Anthropic, OpenAI API outage), We may, at Our sole discretion, re-credit consumed Credits. We are not obligated to do so.

4.3 Quality Dissatisfaction. AI Output quality is inherently variable. Dissatisfaction with the quality, accuracy, or relevance of AI Output does NOT constitute grounds for a refund, as all Output is provided "as is" and without warranty.

5. Consumer Rights

5.1 UK Consumer Rights Act 2015. For UK consumers, digital content must be of satisfactory quality, fit for a particular purpose, and as described. If digital content is faulty (not of satisfactory quality), You are entitled to a repair or replacement, or a price reduction.

5.2 EU Right of Withdrawal. EU consumers have a fourteen (14) day right of withdrawal under the Consumer Rights Directive 2011/83/EU. By consuming Credits, You expressly consent to immediate performance and acknowledge that Your right of withdrawal is lost for the consumed Credits (Art. 16(m)).

5.3 These statutory rights are in addition to (and not limited by) any contractual refund rights in this Policy.

6. How to Request a Refund

6.1 Email Luke@mcconversions.uk with subject "Refund Request" and include: (a) Your registered email address; (b) the transaction date and amount; (c) the reason for the refund request.

6.2 We will respond within five (5) business days. Approved refunds are processed within ten (10) business days via the original payment method.

6.3 Refunds are processed through Stripe, Inc. Processing times may vary depending on Your bank or card issuer.

7. Fraudulent Refund Requests

7.1 Fraudulent or abusive refund requests (including but not limited to: chargeback fraud, serial refund abuse, or false claims of non-delivery) may result in: (a) Account suspension or termination; (b) recovery of refunded amounts; and (c) referral to relevant authorities.

8. Limitation of Liability

8.1 Our total liability for refund-related claims shall not exceed the amount of the specific purchase in question.

8.2 This limitation is in addition to the general limitation of liability in Our Terms of Service.

9. Changes

9.1 We may update this Policy with thirty (30) days' notice. Changes do not affect refund rights for purchases made before the effective date of the change.
