You can delete your account and all your data anytime from Account Settings. Everything is permanently erased within 24 hours. We keep payment records for 7 years (tax law) but nothing else. Export your data first — deletion is irreversible.
1. Your Right to Erasure
1.1 Under GDPR Article 17, You have the right to request erasure of Your Personal Data ("right to be forgotten"). This page explains how to exercise that right and what it means for Your data.
1.2 Under CCPA/CPRA, California residents have the right to request deletion of their Personal Information.
2. What Gets Deleted
When You request Account deletion, the following data is permanently erased:
Account Data: Name, email, profile information, authentication tokens
Content Data: All prompts, outputs, documents, projects, and saved presets
Usage Data: Session history, feature usage logs, analytics data linked to Your Account
Credit Balance: Remaining Credits (forfeited upon deletion)
Preferences: Theme, language, editor settings
3. What We Retain (Legal Obligation)
3.1 We are legally required to retain certain data even after deletion:

3.2 Retained data is stored in a restricted archive, not accessible to operational systems, and is deleted automatically when the retention period expires.
4. Third-Party Data
4.1 Upon receiving a valid deletion request, We also instruct Our Sub-Processors to delete Your data:
Firebase: Authentication record deleted
Stripe: Customer record deletion requested (subject to Stripe's own retention requirements)
AI Providers (Google, Anthropic, OpenAI): These providers do not retain prompt data beyond the inference session under their API terms
Sentry: Error data is automatically purged after 90 days
5. How to Request Deletion
5.1 Self-Service: Go to Account Settings → Delete Account. This triggers immediate deletion of Your data (except legally retained data).
5.2 Email: Send a request to Luke@mcconversions.uk with subject "Data Deletion Request."
5.3 Identity Verification: We may verify Your identity before processing the request.
6. Timescales
6.1 Self-service deletion is processed within twenty-four (24) hours.
6.2 Email-based requests are processed within thirty (30) days (GDPR Art. 12(3)).
6.3 Sub-Processor deletion may take up to ninety (90) days to fully propagate.
7. Before You Delete
7.1 Export Your Data: Before deleting Your Account, We recommend exporting any Content You wish to keep. Use the data export feature in Account Settings.
7.2 Unused Credits: Credits remaining at the time of deletion are forfeited. Consider using credits or requesting a refund per Our Refund Policy before deletion.
7.3 Irreversible. Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.
8. Exceptions
8.1 We may refuse or delay deletion where: (a) We are legally required to retain the data; (b) the request is manifestly unfounded or excessive (GDPR Art. 12(5)); or (c) the data is needed for the establishment, exercise, or defence of legal claims (GDPR Art. 17(3)(e)).

9.1 If You are unsatisfied with Our handling of a deletion request, You may lodge a complaint with the ICO: ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint
